In 2012, KSW
Environmental, LLC acquired Frac Sand Dust Control, LLC’s (FSDC) frac site
dust mitigation services business, including the name and an exclusive license
of the FSDC system and technologies. FSDC had been providing crystalline silica
dust control solutions to the hydraulic fracturing (frac) sector of the oil and
natural gas industry since 2009.
After acquisition of
FSDC’s services business, KSWE quickly added personnel and additional FSDC systems. In 2013, KSWE was on location for numerous
E&P and pressure pumping companies, controlling dust during several thousand frac stages. As
an affiliate of Dupre Energy Services, LLC, KSWE has the resources and oilfield
experience necessary to serve our core market. KSWE is now the knowledge
and energy industry leader in frac sand dust control.

KSW Environmental’s dust mitigation process has been tested in operation numerous times by independent third parties. We currently have results from four separate tests (one conducted by KSWE and 3 customer tests). With over 75 personal breathing zone (PBZ) samples analyzed. Every
sample tested was under
the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL).
